By Hunter Hodies Shohei Ohtani was removed from Thursday’s second game of the Angels-Tigers doubleheader. Per the Angels, he was removed from the game due to cramping. This comes after Ohtani started the first game of the doubleheader and pitched the full game. In nine innings, Ohtani only allowed one hit and issued three walks in addition to striking out eight batters. He also did not allow any runs as the Angels blanked the Tigers, 6-0.
