Los Angeles Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani made further progress toward his return as a two-way player Saturday by throwing his first bullpen of spring training. The 30-year-old, who stayed off the mound last year following elbow surgery in September 2023, threw 14 pitches in a session assessed as “great” by manager Dave Roberts. “The command was good, the ball was coming out good.
