By Alek Arend On Tuesday morning Dusty Baker told reporters that Justin Verlander probably won’t be his Opening Day starter. You sure about that, Dusty? Verlander took the mound for the Houston Astros during their Spring Training game vs. the Washington Nationals on Tuesday. He looked like his dominant self, striking out four batters in his first two innings of work. Verlander didn’t pitch at all during the 2021 season.
