Baseball: Ohtani double shy of cycle, Mets pitcher Senga gets 1st win

Shohei Ohtani finished a double shy of hitting for the cycle in the Los Angeles Dodgers’ 6-4 loss to the Washington Nationals while Japanese compatriot and New York Mets pitcher Kodai Senga earned his first win of the season on Monday. At Nationals Park, designated hitter Ohtani went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and his fourth home run of the year. The Dodgers have lost back-to-back games for the first time this season and dropped three of the last four. Ohtani’s two-run shot tied the game at 2 in the third inning.
