Baseball: Suzuki’s three-run blast lifts Cubs over A’s

Chicago Cubs designated hitter Seiya Suzuki hit a three-run homer among his two hits in a 7-4 victory over the Athletics on Tuesday. His second home run of the season, over the center-field wall, gave the Cubs a 3-0 lead in the top of the first inning, and the 30-year-old from Tokyo also singled to left in the third at Sutter Health Park in West Sacramento, California.
