Baseball: Ohtani homers in 1st spring training at-bat

Shohei Ohtani quickly got back in the swing of things Friday for the Los Angeles Dodgers with a home run in his first at-bat of spring training. The National League MVP demonstrated he is recovering well from offseason left-shoulder surgery with the opposite-field solo homer off Japanese compatriot Yusei Kikuchi, who was starting on the mound for Ohtani’s former club, the Los Angeles Angels.
