No stranger to the devastation caused by natural disasters, Los Angeles Dodgers marquee signing Roki Sasaki voiced his sympathy Wednesday for victims of the wildfires that have ravaged Southern California. The 23-year-old pitcher touched on his experience of the 2011 earthquake and tsunami disaster in northeastern Japan while expressing hope for recovery from the fires that have destroyed thousands of homes and are feared to have killed many more than the 28 confirmed dead so far.
