Bryce Harper, Zack Wheeler are finalists for MLBPA Awards. Could MVP and Cy Young be next?

PHILADELPHIA — Bryce Harper and Zack Wheeler will have to wait a bit longer for the voting results of the MVP and Cy Young awards but Thursday provided some indication of where they stand. They were both named finalists Thursday for the Players Association’s Players Choice Awards, which are voted on by their peers. Harper is one of four finalists for the National League’s Outstanding Player award and Wheeler is one of three finalists for the National League’s Outstanding Pitcher award.
