Baseball: Kikuchi improves to 5-0 with Astros in win over Angels

Japan’s Yusei Kikuchi allowed three runs over seven innings to earn the win as the Houston Astros held on to beat the Los Angeles Angels on Friday. Kikuchi’s fifth win without a loss since joining Houston in a July trade evened his season record at 9-9. He allowed three hits, including a solo home run, walked two and struck out six at Angel Stadium. The win kept the American League West-leading Astros four games ahead of the second-place Seattle Mariners.
