Baseball: Darvish equals Nomo, but says he’s not in his league

Yu Darvish pulled even with Hideo Nomo’s career win total on Tuesday, but the San Diego Padres right-hander said he and the Japanese baseball Hall of Famer are still in different leagues. Darvish earned his 108th career Major League Baseball victory by throwing five innings in a 7-3 win over the Seattle Mariners. His 93 wins in Japan’s major leagues tied him with Nomo’s total of 201 major league wins, 123 in the United States and 78 in Japan.
