SAN DIEGO — Blake Snell will celebrate his 31st birthday early next month. He could pitch for another decade, so forgive him if he sits out Hall of Fame talk even after Wednesday’s conversation-starter. The Padres’ pending free agent was named the NL Cy Young Award-winner on Wednesday, becoming just the seventh pitcher to win the award in both leagues.
